Kristen Wedge, MA, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
I provide individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults at Psychotherapy Services of Atlanta. I believe that every client has a unique story to tell and deserves a safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate counselor.
I have extensive training and experience working with eating disorders, disabilities and chronic pain, and women’s health issues. I draw from a variety of therapeutic theories and techniques in working with my clients. Utilizing person-centered therapy, I seek not only gather information, but to build rapport and create a therapeutic relationship of trust.
I studied at Samford University in Birmingham, AL and Argosy University in Atlanta, GA to complete my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in counseling.
I offer weekend and evening appointments and a limited number of sliding scale sessions for individuals with financial restraints.
As an avid fan of college football and women’s professional soccer, I enjoy going to games, reading, and traveling with family and friends.
